I have trouble with the discipline required for meditation, but gardening has always been a spiritual activity to me.
Cycles, life, growth, energy and death are so *real* in a garden.
Although my brain may be full of lofty thoughts and self awareness, the basic cycles of human life aren’t much different than those of a garden.
